This site runs almost entirely on the Ruby On Rails framework. Rails version 1.2 was recently released and our web host will be upgrading to this shortly. I will endeavour to minimise disruption during the upgrade but you may notice things running a little slowly for a while and might find yourself unexpectedly logged out of a live session because of server restarts.

Following on from a successful talk at the RISC OS User Group of London (ROUGOL), Steve Revill from RISC OS Open and Jack Lillingston from Castle Technology are planning to travel North and give a presentation to the Wakefield RISC OS Computer Club.
This talk is planned to be on Wednesday the 7th of February and will cover topics ranging from the Castle Iyonix, Iyonix Ltd, RISC OS Open Ltd and the Shared Source RISC OS Project.

RISC OS Open are pleased to announce that their new web site has now gone
live. This site replaces the ‘static’ site which went public back in
September and has lots of facilities which we hope the RISC OS community will
find useful and interesting.
We’ve been working on this site in our (primarily Andrew’s) spare time so
thanks to everyone for your support and patience, especially those who have
been beta testing the new site for us.
