That’s a fault in the PayPal process – you should not be asked for postage. Until we get it fixed, please donate £2 less than you intended; the total, including the bogus postage charge, will be at the intended amount.

PS When I tried to donate to ROOL through the web site and PAYPAL, 2GBP was added on for postage and packing. :-( So do you simply donate 2GBP less than you intend to give?

Well I don’t know why but I’ve just tried “cc—version” again and I now get vsn 5.65 [18 Apr 2006]. Looks like I no longer have a problem!

Prior to downloading CC 5.65 from the C/C++ Development Suite area, “cc—version” showed “5.64 Beta Feb 2006”. After installing 5.65, “cc—version” shows “5.54 4th Apr 2003”! If it’s any help, the size of the new cc file is 376367. Anyone any ideas?

Yes. Broadly speaking, if your changes are “accepted”, we will put them into our cvs repository. If we think something is no use, there isn’t much point putting it into cvs.

To avoid wasting effort, it’s always worth discussing any planned developments in the “Peer review” part of our forum. That way, other developers (including us) will get a chance to give advice.

Drop me your postal address to code@riscosopen.org and I’ll get a mouse mat set into the post for you.

We are pleased to add that the completed mouse mats have now arrived back from the printers and we’re very happy with the way they look. Hopefully, you’ll all love them , too!

Hello to you all! Thank you very much for the generous response to this project. The finished design has now gone to the printers so any further submissions cannot be included.

The mouse mats should be going on sale at the Wakefield show. If you’re not attending, we will also be selling them via this web site.
