As a continuation of the move towards the opening up of RISC OS sources, RISC OS Open Ltd (ROOL) have today been officially authorised by Castle Technology Ltd (owners of RISC OS) to take over the Allocations system previously run by Alan Glover.
Those wishing for an official RISC OS allocation should visit the allocations page on our website where there is more information and where allocations can be initiated.

For the next two months (until the end of March), RISC OS Open and Castle Technology will be running a special upgrade offer to any owners of a recent release of the Castle C/C++ tools suite.
If you own a version of the Castle C/C++ tools which was purchased on or after the 1st January 2006, then get in touch with Castle Technology and have your serial number handy. You will be sent an upgrade to the latest version of the tools free of charge.

RISC OS Open are pleased to announce that we are taking over management and development of the Castle C/C++ tools suite and making them available for purchase for 50 GBP plus VAT. This represents a 70% discount over the existing list price.
Once the transfer is complete, you will be able to purchase the tools from this site. Until that time, you should go to the IYONIX Ltd site (click on Products and then List all products).

Following on from a successful talk at the RISC OS User Group of London (ROUGOL), Steve Revill from RISC OS Open and Jack Lillingston from Castle Technology are planning to travel North and give a presentation to the Wakefield RISC OS Computer Club.
This talk is planned to be on Wednesday the 7th of February and will cover topics ranging from the Castle Iyonix, Iyonix Ltd, RISC OS Open Ltd and the Shared Source RISC OS Project.
