We have now opened up access to the CVS repository for the sources previously released in the Batch One source and patch tarballs. This means that for the first time, you now have access to the full changelogs for those components, and you can retrieve old versions back to those present in RISC OS 3.60.

Now that we have published some sources, we would like everyone to have all of the information they require in order to build and modify the components which have been released.
This is something which will evolve over time so keep your eye on the documentation because it is a moving target!
The first place to look if you have any problems or questions will be our wiki here at our web site.

As a continuation of the move towards the opening up of RISC OS sources, RISC OS Open Ltd (ROOL) have today been officially authorised by Castle Technology Ltd (owners of RISC OS) to take over the Allocations system previously run by Alan Glover.
Those wishing for an official RISC OS allocation should visit the allocations page on our website where there is more information and where allocations can be initiated.

The recent Rails upgrade has taken out the forum section, despite it being frozen. That means it keeps running on an older version of Rails, so in theory it should be running perfectly…
This will take a while to fix. In the mean time, the rest of the site is running fine. If you see any problems, please lodge a fault in the bugs database or discuss it with comments on this news article. Thanks! :-)
